I really feel like I'm betraying people who haven't read the book, they're going to be so shocked at the third movie. Can't believe they expect us to wait a year for the last one, but I believe the first movie was like that as well. Exactly a year from now I'm going to be in a theater eating Nips or something or thinking about going to the movies.
But DAMN, where did they get the model of Smaug? That design is so stunning, probably the coolest dragon I've ever seen. The charge of fire in his neck before spitting is a nice touch too.

Movie Grumps

Yeeeeah, I have a thing with movies.
They pretty much always make me angry at a character or the director or the world, and this time it was the latter (again). Especially when someone I know while the credits roll is like, "OH EHM GEE SUCH A GOOD MOVIE!" or "What did you think about that?"
I guess my thing is that movies are much more personal. This time it was even worse, since I'd never read Ender's Game and proceeded to see the movie, plus I could relate to this little guy. He's smart! He gets bullied! For once people show a small guy being the smartest of the crop who even has good comebacks! So when the credits roll or the ending has no end, I pretty much shut my yap and think about it.
Life pretty much is predicted in video games, as shown in a Game Theory video. Even if it's not true and we don't have aliens, et cetera, et cetera, everyone knows that the next challenge may be thrown in front of them to save the world or to think up a cure for some disease. Seeing someone else run through a challenge, especially someone that I can relate to who is merely the opposite gender and could realistically be me, is kind of heart breaking.
Also: Did you know that corresponding with someone online when you know them in real life is embarrassing? Go ask a gamer about that.

So I'm on the server Aeries, really traditional place that used to be infamous, apparently. I've actually been on there for a month or so, and I think I've convinced the server owner by now that we can go crazy on survival. We've updated, and actually with the new Bukkit up we have 1.7.2 blocks! Ain't it great. I had to help him fix the portals, that was fun, and now he has me as a staff member in the Hub, awesome!! Although, I have been constantly active for about a month or so now. I just love survival. I own the faction Jenava, but we're also screwing around with world generation to hopefully kick some 1.7.2 into survival's arse. Fun, fun. The IP is mcaeries.org, but if it changes like it did when the owner was too lazy to pay (Now I'll blame you for everything, huh?) then just go to Planet Minecraft. I have a fireworks shop in Jenava the owner put in dere, too much effort my friend, haha. We plan on maybe having a fireworks show near New Year's.
